Ashley Hanks - KESLA TM

Ashley Hanks is a behavioral pharmacologist with extensive skills in preclinical studies, starting from drug formulation to published manuscript.  Her industry experience is supported by her M.S. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Rhode Island.

Ashley began her career as a contractor for Pfizer Inc. performing various behavioral assays with endpoints in cognition, anxiety and motivation.  Following her contracting work at Pfizer, she conducted studies for Phase II drugs at Sention. She then returned to Pfizer Inc. with mastered skills in preclinical testing for a permanent position in Neurosciences.

Ashley has been involved in the progression of numerous projects including validation of negative screening models for SCZ using the Social Approach Task.

Aside from her expertise in technical, biological, and analytical components of preclinical studies, Ashley also has 4 years of laboratory managerial experience at the University of Rhode Island. Her excellent work ethic and drive produces quality experimental endpoints.
